Unit 6 Pre Viz and update

So it's been a while since I've last posted but that's not to say I haven't been keeping myself busy. I've put together my pre-viz and now have a clear indication of what is left to do. I need to clean up a lot of the camera animation (it goes a bit crazy underneath the skin) and refine some textures etc. Then I'll move on to lighting and rendering, then compositing all together in after effects.

I have inserted a test render as part of my pre-viz to indicate the style i'm going for, but as stated there is a lot of refinements to do:

Prev viz edited with Live footage - first 50 seconds

This is the first 50 seconds of my animation. The CG that transisitions from live footage is only a playblast and is being used to judge the camera angles / speed and movement.

I'm taking the approach of working through each scene in stages but chronologically. I will model and animate each scene, then do the lighting and rendering, then take the results into After Effects. Here is a render of the opening frame of CG action from Live action...
